The Pokémon Center Hiroshima Special Box was released exclusively to commemorate a significant moment in Japanese Pokémon TCG history: the reopening of Pokémon Center Hiroshima following its relocation from the SOGO department store to the Minamoa shopping centre — a new chapter for one of Japan's most beloved regional Pokémon Centers. 

The centrepiece is the exclusive mirror holofoil promo card "Hiroshima's Pikachu" (261/SV-P) — featuring the iconic Pokémon Center Hiroshima logo to the bottom right of the illustration, alongside a Pikachu and Red Gyarados motif that are central to the store's identity. The artwork is unique to this box and was never available through any other distribution channel. 

Orders could only be placed through a strict one-per-person lottery via Pokémon Center Online Japan, with an application window of just five days — June 13 to 17, 2025 — and successful purchases shipped from early September 2025. An exceptionally hard-to-obtain box even by Japanese lottery standards.
